The holidays are behind us. We’re right in the middle of winter. Perhaps you are already thinking longingly of spring. Summer is so far off. And next fall and the start of a new school year is… Wait! Why are we even thinking about the next school year now?!
Well, if you’re the parent of a pre-schooler who’ll be starting kindergarten in the fall, that’s exactly what you need to be thinking about. Is your pre-schooler ready?
Those early childhood milestones come so quickly. Watching our children as they learn and master new concepts is so much fun. But it can bring some anxiety too. Is my child where she needs to be? How does my child compare to other kids his or her age?
The good news is that there are lots of things you can do at home to help your pre-schooler get ready for kindergarten.
The even better news is that Bricks 4 Kidz® pre-school classes are here to help! Engaging models based on a variety of themes, including the alphabet, animals and more, are the building blocks of our curriculum. In these classes children play, explore and learn essential pre-school skills including: letter recognition, patterns, colors, counting, fine and gross-motor skills, position and ordering, vocabulary, and comparing and contrasting.
